Preferences AI was named a finalist in the Interbank Account Data Sharing (IADS) Developer Hackathon, co-hosted by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP). The IADS initiative was launched by the HKMA in 2024 to drive secure, customer-consented data sharing across banks, with the aim of digitalising banking operations and elevating customer experience.
Preferences AI's solution, built on privacy-preserving technology, progressed through the selection process and was chosen to be mentored by international banking group HSBC, who helped provide practical industry guidance on the proposal.
